Program Details:
The Acoustic Guitar camp will be held at Radcliffe Creek School (201 Talbot Blvd, Chestertown, MD 21620).
 
The cost of the camp is $350 per participant and includes 2 weeks of camp (not held on Wednesdays). Camp dates will be July 7, 8, 10 & 11 and July 14, 15, 17 & 18.
 
The camp will run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm on those dates.
 
A maximum of 12 registrations will be accepted and payment needs to be collected in order to secure your spot.
 
Current RCS students are welcome to participate in this camp.
 
This camp is NOT open to the public.
 
Program Description:
The camp will be led by Ms. Julie. She has 25 years of experience playing music with ensembles of various genres. She has a genuine passion for sharing the gift of music, and does so with enthusiasm which makes learning the guitar fun and engaging.
 
All materials will be provided as well as use of an acoustic guitar and your fee will also include one 30-minute private lesson.
 
Participants will discuss guitar anatomy, tuning and proper set-up, basic open chords, strumming patterns and an introduction to reading standard notation music, as well as tablature.
